Tools to manage people and room features - event

You can use the Tools to manage people and room features icon in the People panel to customize how your room is available to the people in it. In an event, only presenters see the button. You can also right click on a name in the People panel for more extensive options particular to that one person.

You will see all the choices available in this menu if you have purchased MyRoom University. If you have the MyRoom Assist option along with MyRoom Premium or MyRoom University, you will see the Copy Clipboard, Get remote system information, Remote control, Tables and optionally, the Waiting room, options. Waiting room is only available in the MyRoom Assist option. Please go to the MyRoom Features page for a complete description of the features available in each option.

When you as a presenter select a name in the People list and right click on it, the menu at right appears. If you have not selected a name or if you choose the icon, a reduced version of the same menu appears.     The following pages explain the additional features available on this menu from those on the same menu in  a chat. Menu Item Name Comments Microphone/Video for all/Show microphone/video controls Control the microphone and video in the room for all.   Display the microphone and video controls above the People panel.   See this page for more information. Configure room for participants option Adjust settings and give participants access to room options. See this page for more information. Show audience details Opens the Audience Detail window. See here for more information. Start/Reset Yes/No poll option Click to launch or reset a quick Yes/No poll visible to all. See here for more information. Show contact pictures Toggle display of contact pictures in an event. See here for more information. Private chat Click to start a one on one private chat with one or more other participants. See here for more information. Send file Click to send a file to a highlighted attendee. See here for more information. Use microphone Use video camera Enable the selected participant to use a microphone or video camera. See here for more information. Request remote control Request to share and control another's desktop. Option only available to a Presenter  with the MyRoom Assist product. See here for more information. Get system information Collect system information from a remote client. Only available with the MyRoom Assist and MyRoom University products. Make Participant or Make Presenter Click to change the role of the selected attendee. View profile Click to view the profile of a selected attendee. Move to room Move the selected participant into another room of your choice. Only available with the MyRoom Assist product. Show breakout rooms Show the breakout rooms in the left area in order to set up and control breakout rooms. Available in the MyRoom University product. Eject from room Click to eject the selected attendee from the room or chat. Eject all Click to eject all others from the room or chat. Eject all participants Eject only the participants.
